He not only finds fish but he catches fish. I had an epic trip. The strippers were being landed on the boat every minute. My 8 year old son and I did an afternoon trip yesterday and had a great time. Captain Tom worked hard to ensure we had good outing. My son caught around 20 fish -- he said his arm was getting tired from reeling them in! Me and 3 other guys drove 5 hours and paid $1700 and the actual captain did not show up and didn’t notify us that he wasn’t coming. And the replacement captain was 2 hours late getting there and we didn’t even go that far out and only caught one fish service was terrible and the replacement captain was to busy talking about his sex life to even find any fish we left with one small shark after paying 1700 dollars and most all the other charters came back with a lot of fish. Tommy boy charters were awesome, I would go again in a heartbeat. Captain Thomas and the mate Joe made us feel comfortable and put us on some great fishing. Other than losing our 6th fish at the net we came home with some really nice keeper's. No worries Joe! The striped bass had not been hitting but 2 of my grandsons and I wanted to spend a bit of time trolling for a big boy on the Tommy Boy. The Captain agreed to an unusual hybrid trip. Although we had no luck the time was spent with lots of great discussion and laughter. Better luck with the flukes had us taking home 8 nice filets. I was told that the fish were around but you had to go with a decent guy to really get them. Well, let me tell you, Tom really knew what he was doing! What a great guy, and professional on the boat. We caught more than I anticipated and he and his mate took the time to help us get the perfect picture to bring home to the family.
